🎃🔥🐎Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Shriek Peek at my 2025 MNSSHP visit

PLUS…NEW DETAILS for 2026!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was held on select nights from Aug. 15 through Oct. 31, 2025. Typically, Tues, Thurs, Fri, and Sun nights. This special event haunts Magic Kingdom Park after normal park operating hours from 7 p.m. to midnight. Bonus: You can enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4 pm with your Party Ticket! 🎃

PRO TIP: Have a party plan. Prioritize what’s important to you: characters? attractions? photos? shows? candy? As a head’s up: If you book your trip and/or party tickets through me, you’ll get all my party tips & party info sheet. 📃

Wear a COSTUME!! Click link for guidelines. Last year I donned a Redd-inspired pirate costume. It was very comfortable & it was a total hit at Beak & Barrel. After all, seeing the partygoers & characters in costume is part of the fun.

My friends & I stayed at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, so we took the boat to Magic Kingdom around 6:15 pm. Fast & stress free. We walked into Magic Kingdom around 6:30 pm and got our white MNSSHP party bands! We followed the THIS WAY TO Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party sign behind Main Street USA.

There’s always so much to see! Spooky music, fog, and party fun. The Halloween Character Statues are so cute — Donald is my forever fave. New this year: Villains! I got some great pics of Mother Gothel. She was amazing! We also picked up our party maps & candy bags. I LOVED this year’s Haunted Mansion Grave Diggers design. The park maps are always a cool souvenir & actually quite helpful. We used our map often during the night.

Just as we exited this Welcome area, it started to STORM. Pouring Rain, Crazy Winds. We took shelter in Cosmic Ray’s for 30 minutes. Smart move. Time: 7:15 pm.

Next up: We watched the Zom-Beatz Bash Dance Party for a few minutes. Attractions: TTA PeopleMover (5 min wait), Mad Tea Party (zero wait), Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (10 min wait). Pics with Mad Hatter & Alice (15 min wait). Time: 8:30 pm.

Trick or Treat Trails– Candy wasn’t our main focus; so, we only hit up a few spots to see some characters. Princess Fairytale Hall (Evil Queen and Maleficent) & Philharmagic- Donald Duck! Gaston’s Tavern (no character), just candy. Time: 9 pm.

Characters: You’ll find lots of unique character meet & greets like Jack & Sally, Princesses & Princes, and more!

🧚‍♀️PRO TIP: Purchase Memory Maker so you can get access to all the Photopass Spots, Attraction Photos, Character Meet & Greet Pics, and Magic Shots! During the Halloween Party, you’ll find exclusive photo spots and magic shots.

The SNACKS & DRINKS: Utilize MOBILE ORDER when possible.

Disney always releases a Foodie Guide prior to the 1st party; so be sure to check it out! 🖤
Dessert Parties will also be available to book: Tomorrowland Terrace or Plaza Garden Viewing. Restaurants open for reservations: Be Our Guest & Cinderella’s Royal Table (party exclusive menu, starts at 4 pm), Plaza (some Halloween-themed menu items), and Beak & Barrel.

Here’s some of the menu items from last year’s party.

Around 9:30 pm, we got a spot for 🎇Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular. A wow-worthy Halloween-themed projection & firework show. We also found time to watch the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular show. The Sanderson Sisters brought all the witchy vibes!!

👻We tried twice to ride Haunted Mansion but OMG, the line extended way back into Liberty Square & wrapped quite a few times. BOO! On this particular Sunday night (October 19), the lines for popular characters & attractions were easily 30-120 min. EEK. This party was BUSY, which was honestly a bit of a disappointment. I’ve had such amazing experiences on previous trips.

We had about an hour until the Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade. So, we enjoyed some snacks & refreshments while we secured a great viewing spot. We listened to the spooky songs by the Cadaver Dans and waved to the Hitchhiking Ghosts in Frontierland. Two thumbs up!

Finally, my FAVE part of the MNSSHP materialized: The Boo to You Parade! We watched the parade in Frontierland near Pecos Bills. This location is the start of the parade. The Headless Horseman returned as the “opening” act and he was awesome! The Grave Diggers are a fan favorite and did not disappoint. I also appreciated the addition of Barbosa on this year’s Pirates float. The parade “ended” for us at 11:35 pm. PRO TIP: ride attractions & see characters during the 1st parade. Watch the 2nd parade.

We headed to Pirates of the Caribbean to catch some tunes by the Rusty Cutlass Band. We closed out our night the best way possible- drinking Salty Seas mARRRgaritas at Beak & Barrel. I booked an 11:40 reservation, genius! We walked out of an almost empty Adventureland. Awesome! We popped into the Emporium for some shopping (loved the exclusive merch!), then said Goodbye to Magic Kingdom at almost 1 am. We walked to our boat (just a 5 min. wait); then sailed home to Wilderness Lodge. How PIRATE of us. 🏴‍☠️

FYI: Parties are selling out (capacity isn’t so limited) and wait times are no longer “walk-on”…. especially for popular rides like Tron, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Peter Pan’s Flight and the spooky fan favorite…Haunted Mansion! 😱

MY PRO TIPS: Make a PLAN & try to STICK to it, go early (4-6 pm), Tues or Thurs parties are ideal (not Fri or Sun), ride attractions/see characters during 1st parade, mobile order food, and dress up!

I have to give a shoutout to the Club Level staff at Wilderness Lodge…I asked them if they could save some desserts for me from the Old Faithful Lounge & we were surprised with 12 sweet treats in our room fridge! YUM! 🧁What a sweet ending to a faBOOlous night!

And now without further ado…🎃
